Executive Assistant

  • Supported the President, the CEO, the CDO, the CBO, and the CSO of a rapidly growing start-up with:

    • Correspondence

    • Scheduling

    • Domestic & international travel

    • Conference attendance (including JP Morgan)

    • Meetings and presentationsincluding room booking, A/V setup, catering, PowerPoint editing and distribution, and recording meeting minutes

    • Expense reports

  • Gleaned preferences and priorities of each exec and actively "triaged" their short- and long-term obligations into realistic itineraries with plenty of room for last-minute amendments and challenges

  • Stayed aware of execs' progress during their long-distance travels and remained available after hours and on weekends & holidays whenever necessary in order to support them in different time zones

  • Initiated regular group calls with multiple board members' assistants to arrange Board of Directors meetings & break-out sessions that would coincide with international conference attendances up to two years in advance

  • Provided integral assistance on various projects involving regulatory proceedings, company database organization & maintenance, public relations, and corporate guidelines

  • Designed and oversaw the creation of the company’s first website within a tight deadline


Office Manager

  • Drafted procedures for and oversaw implementation of recruiting & onboarding processes for all new hires

  • Planned and orchestrated regular company outings and team-building activities with a focus on creating and encouraging a culture of transparency, imagination, respect, and camaraderie

  • Worked directly with the Accounting, Legal, R&D, HR, and IT teams to streamline communication, security, efficiency, and organization at every phase as the company grew

  • Liaised the LabCentral team and outside vendors to continuously accommodate the company's rapidly expanding staff with minimal interruptions and maximum budget compliance

  • Creatively rearranged office layout multiple times as the company org chart changed, and researched and toured potential future workspaces outside of LabCentral
